Sorry I am still trying to get into doing the blog regularly but to be honest, I get caught up in the flow of work that I'm doing that I have a hard time taking breaks from it to actually write something up, but it's something I need to get a handle on since I really want to keep this blog up-to-date! It's a Work-in-progress too, I suppose.
I came across an artist streamer on Youtube awhile back. Her channel is just Nic Mac and she does videos of her art, many of which are tutorials where she goes through how she makes her art. Recently she posted a video of her making a mini skateboard design that she linked to a company called Alpha 6 Corp. Using that brand of paints, she created a design and shared the design and a kit for it on the company's website. I was unable to get the kit because they've been sold out, but I was inspired enough by her work and tutorial that I did order a set of paints and a starter kit from them.
I'm really excited to get back into doing something non-digital. I have a few board blanks and now the paints, tools etc... and *ahem* have no more excuses for putting this off right?

I've reworked the colors on a couple of them to use flat cel-shading style as I am really not ready to try jumping into using gradients with an airbrush or other method to achieve this so for now hopefully these will turn out well.
